Benedict Cumberbatch suits up as he attends BAFTA New York Presents: In Conversation With Benedict Cumberbatch held at The Standard Highline on Thursday (February 13) in New York City.

The 37-year-old actor took part in the lengthy Q&A session where admitted he was unsure about his role in Sherlock, and talks about his first experience with social media.

“It was very overwhelming in a distanced kind of way. I was really aware of this immediate audience response,” Benedict expressed (via Daily Mirror). “I was amazed how vocal it was. This tweeting and blogging came alive. That is very rare, a live experience with a TV audience. It was a new experience for me.”
