Sylvester Stallone Helps Launch 'Rocky' on Broadway!

Sylvester Stallone gets back in the ring to celebrate the first preview performance of the brand new Broadway musical Rocky on Thursday (February 13) at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City.

The 67-year-old actor raised the show’s star Andy Karl‘s hand in the air at the curtain call.

The musical follows a down-and-out fighter named Rocky Balboa who struggles to stay on his feet somewhere in downtown Philadelphia. But when the chance of a lifetime comes along, he takes his best shot at becoming a champion… and his last shot at finding first love.

Also out for Rocky fans, the Rocky: Heavyweight Collection is now available. The new Blu-ray/DVD powerhouse set features all of the Rocky films including the remastered Rocky I.
