Okay, if you’re gay…great. Now let’s move on. This agenda is becoming boring.

Emma, You should see the movie and realize that it’s not an agenda. Actually it’s peoples lives being destroyed. It’s only one of the many struggles gay people face.

Cool. This has taken a while to get off the ground. I’m glad they are finally able to make the film. It’s a touching and important story.

# 4

Ummm, that is a super odd pairing. Ellen could be Julianne’s daughter.

The timing of all this and her announcement that she is gay is just a too orchestrated for me. One day after her “coming out” its released that she’s playing a lesbian in a touching indie project? I was wondering why come out now and not before? Now I get it. Publicity! No matter how innocent it all appears, it never is Hollywood. For those who gave her pats on the back: sorry people. You’ve been had!

@Timing It’s not one day after, she is signed on this project for years now. Check your facts before making ignorant comments.

And looking forward to this movie, Julianne Moore is best actress working today, it’s gonna be great!

@Asha —- lesbian couple as well as hetero couples can have large age gaps in real life (like aaron and sam taylor johnson.) agegaps aren’t considered big in the lesbian community. stop being an @ass and grow up

@Charley_90210: Regardless of whether she’s been signed on to do this for a while the timing is still the same. She comes out when suddenly this movie gets the go ahead. The only ignorant person is you because you’ve been had and here you are defending someone who doesn’t know you exist. I work in the business, I know how it works. No wonder we make so much money off of you guys. Its too easy!

To Emma, unless you knew Stacy and Laurel like I do/did. You have no idea, why dont you try watching the documentary first before you speak. Stacy is a very shy person and only did this for Laurel to have what was rightfully hers. Cynthia came in during the last 2-3 months of Laurels life. I was at those meeting listening to the Freeholders deny Laurel of what was righfully hers many times. Her former decetive partner even asked them if I was to marry Laurel today I would get her benifits right? Their answer was yes. This was more than a story about being gay. It was a story about love. True love and to see if first hand and all that Stacy did for Laurel in the last year of her life is what you would see any spouse do for their loved one.

TIming- Ellen has been attached to this project for almost 3 years she has spoken about it in past interviews. Do your reserarch. It made the news because of who else signed on Julianne Moore (as Laurel) and Zach ( as Steve) just signed on.

@Lance: I’m not sure;but was there a book made bout it?? Also thanks for the “input”

Looking forward to this movie. Julianne is such a talented, sweet and admirable actress whom I can only hope to be anything like.
