What a day for Brad and Angie fans, first TYAS wins best film at the Baftas, not to mention Brad and Angie owning the red carpet, AGAIN, and now the first real glimpses of Angie’s film Unbroken. Unbroken looks really good, Miyavi is really working that evil look, and Jack looks like he’s turning in a really good performance. I have really high hopes for Maleficent, Fury and Unbroken, wow, as JP fans we have a lot to look forward to this year.

  • Erianthe

Was watching the Olympics this afternoon and during the broadcast, they featured scenes from Unbroken. I was so surprised, hadn’t expect it, BUT DAMN, from what I saw, Angie’s got an Oscar contender with this one.

CONGRATS to 12 Years a Slave!!!! Best Film at BAFTAs and Chiwetel Ejiofor, Best Actor!!!! Chiwetel got a standing ovation. Woo hoo!!!!

Jennifer Lawrence got supporting. No offense to Lawrence fans on this board, but I don’t get it. Lupita was robbed.

Angelina have found her real niche “Director”.

Thanks for the link. The movie looks outstanding. It’s obviously not finished yet but the rough edit looks good.

Damn. Angelina Jolie has never looked more beautiful when she walks with her hubby Brad Pitt! She glows when Brad is with her. #BAFTAs

My BAFTA highlight was the 10 seconds Angelina Jolie was on screen for. People should not be allowed to be that good looking

    Yosama ‏@yassamingh · 44m
sorry but the fact that Angelina Jolie was wearing a suit at the BAFTA’s and still managed to look the hottest is just 👌

Angelina Jolie is actually pulling off a suit better than any of the blokes. #BAFTA

I think Okra got disgusted with Ticky because the last 2 times she was on her show Ticky lied outright to her face and Okra caught her in her lies. I thought it was hilarious that when she ended her talk show and had all her famous friends on in the finally weeks – Ticky was nowhere to be seen. That was what – 2 years ago? Still not Ticky\Okra confabs on her cable channel either. Ticky has nothing Okra needs therefore Okra has no time for her. LOL!

  • Dc

This is going to a big hit. She so talented

  • waxy

damn that’s a lot of plastic surgery

I had no idea that this was going to be shown. I mean when did they announce it. The footage looks amazing. Looks so beautiful and so well directed.. Angie has a winner.

I just find it so phukking hilarious how dumb stoopid biotches on celeb gossip blogs coughCBcough who usually try to hide their jealousy of Angie by commenting unceasingly about her weight, are now saying, like everyone else, that Angie looked fabulous on the BAFTA RC, but these biotches just have to insert that: “oh she looks like she put on some weight”. When in fact, it was just earlier this week that they were commenting on her Unbroken wrap party pix about how skinny she looks/she looks like she lost weight/lshe needs to put on a few more pounds/the usual cr@p/etc. And now, just a few days later, suddenly its all, ‘how great Angie looks’. lol Yeah mofos Angie owns ya dumbfvck stoopid @ssses and she doesnt have to do a thing to confound y’all zi-for-brain. lmfao

Hi, Passing Through, I didn’t know Okra didn’t have her on for her final show. Well, that’s one step in the right direction. Ticky lives for that kind of stuff. Inserting herself in the middle of things she has no right to be part of and giving the appearance that she is bffs with all the talk show hosts. So when someone is no longer useful to her, Okra has no time for them. See this is why she and Ticky are two peas of the same pod. They have so much in common. Needy and opportunistic.

  • Frenchy

    Looks good!

I think Jenny poo was on a video

but the night has been too great to talk about 3rd parties that have nothing to do with Brad or Angie.. lots of pics coming to enjoy.

I hope they had a fabulous after party.

  • Fraudulina

guest named director for a couple of weeks?

  • groundcontrol

The featurette with Unbroken clips is very good. I think that may be Tom Brokaw narrating. His book, The Greatest Generation, is excellent about Zamperini’s generation.
    Good day all in all.

  • Verity

On my must see list. Christmas 2014, I’ll be there.

  • Cate

Surprised they have so much footage already. UI love these kind of movies so I’m looking forward to it. Visually it looks great. Hope this could finally land the Oscar for Deakins if this year isn’t his.

  • LaCroix

looks so great.. it actually choked me up .. can’t wait to see Zamperini’s story on the big screen!

  • the true

Can’t believe we got to see some footage of the movie….it looks amazing…
Angie has a special touch caused it had my eyes in tears…can’t wait to see the movie….this year will be an awesome yr for Angie…Maleficent and Unbroken….2 blockbusters in the making…

What a day today…first TYAS won the best picture at BAFTAS and now seeing Unbroken preview….damn it’s good to be a fan of Brad and Angie.

  • first and last post

This movie is looking great…even the teaser is so inspiring. AJ’s choice of Jack O’Connell to portray Zamperini was a good one. Zamperini’s fortitude, will and life lessons are an example for everyone. I am so glad he is still alive to see this movie being made. Thank you AJ for seeing this through in the quality manner your directed movies have demonstrated…what a talented individual whose focus on her subject matters always enhances one’s worldwide and personal POV for those who want to be enlightened. For those who do not appreciate her personal and work efforts…your ignorance quotient is reflected back on you and makes you look all the more petty…the shallow end of muck at rock bottom has no where to go so wallow in it.
Congratulations to TYAS for best film at the BAFTA’s and as a side note to Barkhad Abdi for “Captain Phillips”…he was very good and just plucked off the streets for that role.
Lupita looked amazing on the RC…what a beautiful woman.
    Hi to all JP fans.

They should pass a law that makes it mandatory for everyone who thinks Jennifer Lawrence deserved that BAFTA to watch 12 Years A Slave #Fact

Lupita was robbed blindly….let’s hope the Oscars can correct it.

  • teri

Looking forward to seeing this, looks interesting. Angie and Brad are doing so many great things. Congrats to TYAS also.

  • lucy

I think we can see why Universal went with Angie over other more experienced directors, she had a vision of how she wanted this film to be told, and from just the little we’ve seen, she seems to have recognized that vision. Is there anything Brad and Angie can’t do, from award winning and nominated acting to award winning producing and directing, all while raising six kids and still have time left over to be HW’s most prolific Humanitarians. Sheesh, I’m tired just typing what they do
After seeing Angie and Brad on the red carpet together, I think we can conclude that they’ve stayed away because even they have to know when they show up, everyone else is relegated to the background, I don’t think they’ve wanted to take any attention away from Steve or the cast. Lupita looked beautiful, but what has everyone on all the sites been talking about, Brad and Angie.

  • On my way!

Bingo – and this is why she at the bamaftas,
Angie in her suit looks hot

    Deadbeat looks wooried

Love Jack O’Connell.. He’s a brilliant actor & easy on the eyes. Happy he will get A LOT of recognition in America

  • Dee

Ok now this actually looks good, I tried watching ‘….Blood and Honey’ but just could not get into it.

Anything written and/or adapted by the Coen brothers?? IM THERE.

Once a Fan always a Fan! Angie madear next Christmas ahh that’s too long but can’t wait to be there for the epic film you have once again directed.. Unbroken’ will hit the charts like no tomorrow.
Brad and Angie have done more in their nine yrs. together than others have done in a lifetime. My favorite couple, Hollywood’s most powerful. Loves them to pieces..

  • loopholes

The Land of Blood and Honey barely made a million dollars and her fans were all ‘ MASTERPIECE’ and all that nonsense.

Thing is fan-trolls, her first movie was horrible. This trailer clearly shows what her focus is going to be – torture. Like her sick fixation on sex was in her other equally empty production. She obviously thinks she can get a directors Oscar – when she is nowhere near the ranks of Scott or Eastwood.

Truth hurts I know. But no one can be good at everything. Jolie is a factually horrible director – that’s why she needed the help of most of the actual talented minds of film making MAKING this movie. Because when she was on her own – it sucked balls.

  • Original DBDP

@loopholes: land of blood and honey is worlds away for this,

Not to take anything away from land and blood and honey,

ITLOBh is a fantastic piece of art that unfortunately not many people want to watch. It’s a serious horrendous nightmare of a movie based on true events.

I have no doublets that ITLOBh will be a classic was movie in years to come.

  • Original DBDP

Also critics praises Jolie’s directorial efforts. They may have not liked the dialogue but they loved the direction.

    Sucks for her haters, lol

  • Mel

This looks like a movie the Oprah housewife crowds would go for.

  • Ghost movie

Like WITH “In the Land of Blood and Honey..”
Everybody talks about it but few saw it..
    Budget $13 million[2]
    Box office $303,877 (US/Canada)

I am looking forward to seeing this movie!
