“I try not to read gossip as a rule, but the other day a website ran an article with a picture of me wearing sweatpants on the way to the gym. The writer asked, ‘Why does [this] petite beauty insist upon dressing like a massive man?’” Ellen said before pausing. “Because I like to be comfortable,” she added.

I think she looks very relaxed and doing well just as she should be. I can’t wait until Xmen and her next movies!

It’s not “gay woman.” “Gay” is for men. Women are lesbians.
Considering how my love life is going, I might be joining her soon.

@Anonymous: Not really, i’m gay and i don’t have to call myself a lesbian. Its not a rule.

I think she’s an amazing actress and person. I’ve enjoyed her work since Hard Candy years ago and I hope she’s happy both in her personal life and work life, she deserves it. :)

@Anonymous: Many women identify as gay. Also, I assume your intentions are good, but your comment about considering, “joining her” as a lesbian because you’re not having luck with men suggests that dating women is a kind of “last resort” for women who can’t attract a man. It’s kind of a homophobic thing to say and fuels some pretty awful stereotypes.

And for the record, you would have a MUCH tougher time trying to find a gay woman who would date you. Trust me on this one and stick to men, homegirl!
