Kate Mara Discusses THAT Scene in 'House of Cards' Season 2

Kate Mara looks gorgeous while arriving for a taping of The Late Show with David Letterman on Tuesday (February 18) in New York City.

The 30-year-old actress recently discussed a shocking scene from House of Cards season 2 with EW. MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

“There wasn’t even time for her to scream,” Kate said of the scene where she is thrown in front of a train by Kevin Spacey‘s character. “It’s completely out of the blue. If you’re crossing the street, you see no cars are coming, and then you get hit by a car, you don’t have time to – it just happens. It’s like, over. Unfortunately, I had no last thoughts.”

“I don’t think there has to be a message. And I don’t know that there is one in season 2. But I’m not one of those people that watches movies or television in that way. I don’t feel like I need to learn something from a character or from a story,” Kate added. “I am cool with just watching something and sort of losing myself in this crazy world. I’m okay with that.”

FYI: Kate is wearing a Roland Mouret dress and Bionda Castana shoes with a Michael Kors coat.

When you keep emphasising THAT scene, it’s pretty obvious what happens. Luckily I’ve already seen it.
