The paparazzi thing NEEDS TO END people!

    don’t blame him

Good for Sam! Sam is a nice person who wouldn’t hurt a flea. He has never got in trouble and he has a good reputation. I hope he doesn’t get into too much trouble. He is not a U.S. citizen and it could be a problem. But I think the courts will understand I am glad the photographer also was charged with a crime. I can understand if a photographer is outside a hotel where celebrities stay. But to bother them while they are at a restaurant or a bar or club is wrong. They are on their own time. They need stricter laws in New York and in L.A. At the very least the photographers need to be banned from getting too close. They should make a law to have them stand at least 20 feet away. They have those big cameras so they can still get good pictures.

The photographer didn’t just say something mean to his girlfriend, he hit her. I don’t blame Sam. There should be new paparazzi laws. If they’re public figures then take pictures, fine, but they should definitely be at a distance at all times like Samantha said above.

What?!?! Sheng Li kicked his girlfriend in the shin & Sam defends her and gets arrested?!?! This nuts – the paparazzi need to be controlled.

  • Fercat

That’s pretty much the man’s protective instincts taking over.

    What makes him so special
If some other celeb did the same it would be a different reaction
Don’t judge a book by its cover

@NYC: Ur funny and i bet you did not look at one pix on here either right ? lol oh ur too funny

  • Anna

Who from Australia wouldn’t want to kick Lara Bingle in the shin?

  • Diedre

I don’t blame him for punching the little puke. Too bad he was charged. :(

  • Isabel

@Xoxo: I can’t judge a man who kicked a woman in the shin just to get a photo of her and her boyfriend? Really?

  • shakirakitten

At least he did it for a worthwhile cause. Other celebrities sometimes behave badly, but in this case, Worthington is worthy.

  • some Papz are disgusting

Paparazzi behave often like they are the real stars. Constantly yelling and even pushing the stars, they want a pic from. Even disgustingly insult them to get a reaction out of them and then make photos of them to picture them angrily. Papz were never just innocent photographers. They even break laws to get a picture that they can sell for a lot of money.

  • Mary

If it’s true that the guy kicked his girlfriend, how is he being charged? Isn’t he entitled to defend against an attacker?

  • Anna you are not funny

@Anna: You are disgusting. Violence is not funny. How great would you find it if a random guy would kick you in the chin. People like you say even disgusting things just because they think its funny and people will think they are cool. Guess what you arent funny nor are you cool, just pahtetic.

  • Liaies

So this guy gets arrested because he stood up for his girlfriend but that stupid Kanye West, who has hit the paparazzi people many times for no reason, is not arrested?

  • Liz

I will never understand the paparazzi laws in the US (any country for that matter). If this happened to anyone else it would be considered as stalking and harassment, and it would be illegal.

Exactly. Well-said. And rightly so. No one should touch his beloved but him unless they have permission or are her friends, period.

Did you see? The photographer said Sam’s gf attacked him first!! The pap was on a job following them for 4 hours, without him how are you going to see all these entertainment pictures/news?

  • Adfjk

that pap deserved to be punched!

  • Anna

@Anna you are not funny: Calm yo’ tits. Violence isn’t funny true, but just saying, if you were familiar with Lara Bingle like Australians, the headlines here would be Lara getting kicked and the majority of the comments saying what my first comment was. I’d explain why, but that’d make me look even more bitter than what your comment implies me to be.

  • emma

Is there a video of this somewhere? @Anna: I agree! She deserved to be kicked. Especially since she kicked him first.

  • Jen

I find it funny to read these old comments, and then 2 days later see the video that Lara instigated the photographer first. lol!!! What a famewhore she is. Looks like she and Sam like to appear in court often.
