Robin Thicke & Paula Patton Split After 8 Years of Marriage

Robin Thicke and his wife Paula Patton are ending their marriage after eight and a half years, her rep confirms to JustJared.com.

“We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time,” the couple told People in a statement.

Robin and Paula met nearly 22 years ago and have been married since 2005. They are the parents to one son named Julian who was born in April 2010.

There have been rumors swirling about the couple’s marriage ever since his racy video for “Blurred Lines” was released and then his scandalous performance with Miley Cyrus at the VMAs last year, but they persevered through those times together.

Robin and Paula were last seen together attending the 2014 Grammy Awards a few weeks ago.
