What a lie, the worst novie from last year, an insult to Scorsese

And there’s always going to be someone so used to the common movies that when something so great as Gravity comes out, they aren’t going to see it. Scorsese is good, but this wasn’t his best movie. Alfonso is talented and always has NEW ideas, something you can’t say from Hollywood nowadays. When you learn to appreciate cinema, then we can talk. Go Alfonso!!

Shut up! He deserved it!! As a mexican I’m proud of him, such an inspiration for everyone to reach our goals and look for success!

amy if you do not like Gravity maybe you should see “12 years of slavery”, stupid racist

Of course he won because he is a white Mexican which means white. A colored Hispanic would never win such an award.

Yessss. He had to win, the entire movie was a feat of directorial greatness, how it even got made at all astounds me. So happy he won, in fact happy with all the winners in all categories, a great Oscars overall.

  • Thomas

He is the first Mexican to win an Oscar as best director. But he didn’t deserve it Martin Sorcese did for Wolf of Wallstreet. Gravity was all about special effects.

Gravity is a massive cinematic achievement. This is very well deserved, congratualations Alfonso

Cuaron has won every single major award for directing this year, so it was no surprise that he won the Oscar. It wasn’t even close.

People who actually understand how movies are made recognized his extraordinary achievement. Gravity’s opening scene is a feat of visionary and technical greatness. He could have won on that alone. Congratulations to Alfonso Cuaron!
