Bette Midler Performs 'Wind Beneath My Wings' at Oscars 2014 (VIDEO)

Bette Midler pours her heart on the stage while performing onstage during the 2014 Oscars held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (March 2) in Hollywood.

The 68-year-old actress tugged at the audience’s heart strings while singing her 1988 hit song “Wind Beneath My Wings” during a tribute for those who have died over the past year.

“I loved Cate Blanchett‘s performance as an unhinged woman who talks to herself after a few martinis. Finally, a character I can relate to!” Bette tweeted earlier in the day.
