Christoph Waltz Presents to Lupita Nyong'o at Oscars 2014

Christoph Waltz steps on stage to present an award at the 2014 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (March 2) in Hollywood.

The 57-year-old actor, who won the award for Best Supporting Actor last year for his work in Django Unchained, was at the show to present the award for Best Supporting Actress to Lupita Nyong’o for 12 Years a Slave. Coincidentally, both movies dealt with slavery.

jennifer lawrence was robbed its part of hollywood white guilt syndrome,i saw both movies lupita wasn’t that great, its not her acting skills that seems very melodramatic and exaggerated it’s the character that is sympathetic even if kevin hart would have played the part we will read his name as a winner.so let’s just say the politically correct choice won

i really don’t get it i saw her in 12 years a slave and after i left the cinema i didn’t even think about her performance because it isn’t that special so i really don’t get why she won .i don’t know julia roberts or jennifer lawrence would have been the right choice. i hope she didn’t win because he’s black and they have to give it to a black actress

i am just going to say it .i will get all the atacks its ok i dont care .they didnt want to give jennifer lawrence back to back oscars thats why lupita won, jennifer lawrence won the bafta for the simple reason that people thought lupita acting was melodramatic not dramatic that’s a way of saying exaggerated and over the top not natural.so why hollywood why?.the oscars are more political and campaign then real talent and good performance

In this case, the best actress won. Jennifer Lawrence’s acting is generally loud and obnoxious with no real thought process behind it, and her performance in American Hustle was mediocre at best. I’m very happy Lupita won. The ‘JLaw’ craze was getting old, anyway.

Lol at the white people crying about Lupita getting the award because she’s black. Orrrrrr, perhaps she was just better? Not all of us are suffering from white guilt syndrome. Maybe we’re just smarter at recognizing real talent over skin color than you.
