Ellen DeGeneres takes the stage as host to perform the famous opening monologue at the 2014 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (March 2) in Hollywood.

The 56-year-old entertainer, who hosted the show seven years ago as well, opening the show by poking fun at the various celebs and nominees that evening.
