Idina Menzel is 'Wicked' Green on the Oscars 2014 Red Carpet

Idina Menzel looks gorgeous in a green dress while hitting the red carpet at the 2014 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (March 2) in Hollywood.

Any major fans of Broadway or the 42-year-old actress will love that the color matches her most famous character – Elphaba from the hit show Wicked!

Idina will be performing her song “Let it Go” from the movie Frozen this evening during the show. It will mark the first time she has performed the song live on television. The song is nominated for Best Original Song and we can’t wait to see if it wins.

FYI: Idina is wearing a Vera Wang dress and Chimento jewelry.

She looks GREAT, but I’ll still be skipping this part of the program as her voice is not for me.

Unfortunately, she didn’t do the song any justice.. She was shaking, sounded rushed and seemed a bit upset when the song was completed BC she knew that she didn’t perform well.

@Deanodambro: I totally agree with you. Idina Menzel is an amazing and wonderfully talented singer; however, she seemed very nervous and rushed and her voice ended up cracking on the very last high note. I really do love her as an artist and hope for more success from her in the future

Deanodambro, to be fair, that song (“Let It Go”) is very difficult to sing.@Deanodambro:
