Nebraska's June Squibb - Oscars 2014 Red Carpet

June Squibb looks absolutely lovable on the red carpet at the 2014 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (March 2) in Hollywood.

The 84-year-old actress is nominated this evening for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for her work in the movie Nebraska.

June is nominated against American Hustle‘s Jennifer Lawrence, 12 Years a Slave‘s Lupita Nyong’o, Blue Jasmine‘s Sally Hawkins, and August: Osage County‘s Julia Roberts.

FYI: June is wearing a Tadashi Shoji emerald hand-beaded raschel lace long sleeve gown with trompe l’oeil and black silk crepe detail and Henri Sillam emerald earrings and emerald ring.

    June was looking FABULOUS and she should have been mentioned in all the “best dressed” conversations and tweets. Probably she wasn’t young enough or tall enough or skinny enough to merit commentary on her impecable STYLE.at the event. It is too bad that the only attention she received was Ellen’s on-air wisecrack referencing old peoples’ hearing or dementia problems. Hollywood’s age-ism at its most typical.
    She deserved better….she earned it!
