Olga Kurylenko Wears Eco-Fashion on Oscars 2014 Red Carpet
Olga Kurylenko rocks a pink dress while hitting the red carpet at the 2014 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (March 2) in Hollywood.
The 34-year-old actress’ gown is made from 100% GOTS certified organic peace silk and 100% GOTS certified organic silk. It was first hand-dyed with Sappanwood – a legume which produces a reddish-colored dye and is sustainable due to its fast growth rate – then overdyed with madder root to give it a deeper shade of red.
Olga walked the red carpet with Kellan Lutz, who also participated in the Red Carpet Green Dress initiative.
FYI: Olga is wearing an Alice Elia dress, an Oroton clutch, and Bvlgari jewelry.
