Idina Menzel Sings 'Let it Go' with Jimmy Fallon - WATCH NOW!

Idina Menzel sits down in the music room with Jimmy Fallon to sing her hit Frozen song “Let It Go” during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday (March 3) in New York City.

The 42-year-old actress visited the show directly after arriving home from her trip to Los Angeles for the Oscars, where she performed the song live for the first time on television.

Idina became a viral sensation after John Travolta totally messed up the pronunciation of her name and said something along the lines of “Adele Dazeem.”

Currently, Idina is in the midst of rehearsals for her brand new Broadway show If/Then, which begins performances this week. Make sure to get your tickets right now!

I wish she had sang it like this on the Oscars, but I think she was a little nervous on the show and the fact that she had to transition the song differently with it being reduced. Regardless, she totally nailed it here. I loved this performance…I just watched it twice haha! I love this movie, this song, Disney, Idina and Jimmy!

  • Berenice Rezentes

They are enjoying to sing a song with each other in the show.

  • Herb

This is the performance she should have done on the Oscars. This was as though she was showing us “See, I really CAN sing this song”.

    Amazing. Love Idina)).

    She nailed it!
Who cares about the Oscars performance? Seriosly, everybody makes mistakes and she’s only human! She’s just showed the world how talented she is :) Love her! <3

  • http://itstrue EAST ASIANS CAN READ MINDS!!!!

Asians can hear, and see what you’re visually thinking.
THIS IS NOT A JOKE OR A MEME! This is the absolute complete truth!!!!
Asians hide their mind reading abilities by having completely expressionless faces so they don’t accidentally show facial expressions when people think things they don’t like, find funny, astonishing, etc, and Asians segregate so their not nearly as susceptible to that happening.
Asians also segregate, and are untalkative to avoid accidentally saying things that are similar to what people are thinking and going to say.
All Asians are keeping their mind reading abilities a secret, they don’t want ANYONE to know they can read minds! They value hiding it more than their own lives!!!
Try thinking, and visually picturing things as wild as you can when you are around Asians, it works if you try enough!!! Also look for Asians who give people dirty/particular looks for what appears to be for completely no reason.

“For crying out loud, I was hibernating! … Don’t you guys ever take a pulse?”
I admire Jimmy for jumping for Polar Plunge, and kept his clothes on. Too many 60-65yr old men like to go swimming half starkers at those temperatures.

Even in this “good” version her voice is harsh and screechy. Several times it was downright painful to listen to.

  • Ash

What? What does that have to do with East Asians being able to read minds?

  • carmen clark

I would love to read minds actually I’m a little of a mind reader my self. I actually belive I’m a Psych and have capabilities and all races can move objects and practice witchcraft of all sorts just read all of the worlds religions. I have and am keep on practicing in everything I do. I know I know it a hard process out there but if you can read mind dont keep it a secret spead the word. They just might believe you and not put you in the nut houses.. Peace to all. But the CIA might know more. Find out and ask ???

I don’t understand why this song is popular. Can’t understand the beginning lyrics. It sounds like she is mumbling. At the Oscars it was the worst song performed. Maybe I have to see the movie to get why people like this song.

  • Susan

@Chris: I totally agree. This stripped down version made it clear to me that I just can’t stand her tone and her nasalness. Saw her a couple years ago singing at the Kennedy Center Honors for Barbra Streisand and I ended up having a new-found respect for Beyonce, who was also performing and was SO much better, even if I do find her voice somewhat generic. Defying Gravity is about the only song from her I enjoy.

    You’re a Psycho all right…..

she is a treasure. Such an amazing voice! Outstanding!

  • I Mean…

I’ll never be a fan of her voice. The only good thing about it is volume. It’s not a beautiful voice by any means and she has no emotional range – only piano or forte.
