Naomi recently opened up about her switch from dramatic to comedic roles.

“People thought that I was not interested or not good at comedy or didn’t want to do it,” Naomi revealed to Sydney Confidential. “After things like doing The Impossible, which was such a heavy, gut-wrenching piece, it was hard to switch off at the end of the day.”

She continued to say, “I really felt like I needed to actively pursue some lighter material and I needed to let people know. One thing led to the next and I ended up doing three things of that kind of nature.”

FYI: Naomi is wearing J Brand pants.

Noticed she skirts the career ending Diana disaster.

One wonders what she does to unwind at the end of the day … with her children? Or, before engaging with her children and partner? Surely it impacts her relationships as she needs time, (and whatever else), after work, to shift back into herself from her film character, as she says.

I don’t believe anyone who says one can successfully combine an intensive full-time dramatic film career with being a mom, i.e. ‘have it all’.

I personally feel that the kids in this type of character’s life are short-changed; even if in time alone.

Oh come on x. These actors aren’t out digging ditches or working twelve hours a day in a restaurant. Those kids don’t get short changed at all. They have a better life than most children.
