Tilda Swinton: Fame is Like Being Turned Into a Vampire
Tilda Swinton sits down for an interview on Late Night with Seth Meyers on Thursday evening (March 13) in New York City.
The 53-year-old actress was seen earlier in the day wearing a long coat and a red scarf while out and about in the city.
Tilda recently chatted with Buzzfeed about her new vampire film Only Lovers Left Alive and made some interesting comparisons between the creatures and fame.
“Someone — and this is almost too intimate — was talking to me about fame, and we were talking about [how] people who become famous, at a certain point, kind of psychologically become fixed at the point at which they become famous,” Tilda said. “So if you’re 19? If you’re 12? It’s interesting. Anyway. It’s not for that (points to voice recorder), but it is a little bit like being turned into a vampire.”
