The day before, Kate was prepping for summer with a white little dress at the Express South Beach Runway Show.

“I love Kate,” supermodel Jessica White recently gushed to E! News. “I worked with Kate when she first started out, and her personality, energy and spirit is still the same as it was from day one. I think she deserves it all!”

Jessica added, “She is bringing back being curvaceous and what real women look like. On top of her body being real, her face is extraordinary beautiful. People can sense when something is real and fake about a person. Kate is all real and I love her and adore her.”

It is refreshing to see a woman who isn’t just basically a giraffe with t!ts.

IMO Kate is incredibly overrated as a model.

If she didn’t have huge b**bs no one would look twice at her.

She has a pretty but generic face, not beautiful or striking. Odd shaped chicken legs & a square block for a torso with NO waist what so ever!

The fact that in every picture photographers have to disguise her thick set middle proves that she’s not curvaceous but just has an apple shape.

Having a Curvaceous or hour glass figure means your waist is smaller than your bust & hips, the opposite of Kate’s shape!

I think it’s good that a bigger model is being hired by the fashion industry but in reality it’s ONLY because of B**BS & has nothing to do with her being a bigger girl. If she didn’t have a big bust the fashion industry & men’s magazines wouldn’t be interested in her!

She’s not an iconic Supermodel in any way shape or form but just a girl with a big bust that will soon lose her appeal once gravity takes hold.

It’s wonderful to see fake boobs become the norm in society and call it curvaceous and what a “real” woman should look like. Are these men writing and pushing this crap?!? Why can’t real women be themselves and come in ALL SHAPES (skinny, short, no boobs, thick a$$) and still be a real woman? Kate Upton is as real as plastic.

I think it’s ironic how people (esp young girls) worship these size 0 models who they will literally NEVER look like yet they tear down Kate Upton for being successful while looking “normal” with flaws like the rest of us. Where’s the logic?

Kate does not have sexy curves. She has huge boobs and that’s all the real curves she has

Marilyn Monroe was a size 14 and considered very beautiful-her body voluptuous. KU has an awesome body, because it goes against what Hollywood and the fashion world demands. She’s real, healthy, and attractive.

    Yo Says:

The only curves she has are her boobs and that disgusting muffin top. She has no hips or @ss..therefore she isn’t curvy. If you wanna talk about “real woman” shape then at least use someone with a womanly figure. Kate has stick legs with no muscle tone and a boxy spongebob look to her.

    Asdf Says:

@Yo: Are you saying a women who is naturally thin is not a real woman? Stop being ignorant. People like you who bully others who are smaller are absolutely disgusting and not to mention incredibly hypocritical. Get a life.

    Lee Says:

If by ‘sexy curves’ you mean an abnormally thick lardy gut, then sure.

She’s built like Sponge Bob. And those chicken legs! YIKES!

Without a doubt the worst body I’ve ever seen on any model, weight be damned. Her shape is just awful! That Miss Piggy face is pretty damn mediocre too.

    Yo Says:

@Asdf: Hey dummy nobodys criticising her weight. A woman’s shape is more significant in determining her attractiveness than just weight and dress size. You completely missed my point because you’re a dummy.

She does have a weird body shape but that’s ONLY because you and I are used to seeing models with bodies in proportion. In reality bodies come in all shapes and sizes. That’s why I don’t Like it when people say she or any other plus sizes models represent what ‘real’ women looks like. It’s in correct as it rules out other shapes and sizes. She represent a body type that doesn’t fit in with the typical body shape the fashion industry Tends to favours.

She has a body that’s not limited to doing certain categories. She can do high fashion, plus size, and sexy, and because of her face she can also do glamour. She’s a good model because she can pull it off with the help of the right team of professionals.

I used to not like her because I wasn’t used to someone like her.
Her body was weird and her face was a little generic. But over time she has proven herself and produced some amazing work and there’s no denying they were striking and at times captivating.

Plus sizes started being glamourised by the fashion industry because of the demand from the public, now more variety if bodies are emerging because of people that do not fit into either tall and skinny nor plus sizes, like me. So ironically, initially being rejected she comes the closes to a body I can identify with.
