Judge Joe Brown Arrested for Court Room Meltdown
The roles were reversed for Judge Joe Brown on Monday (March 24) when he was arrested in a court room in Memphis, Tenn.
The 66-year-old television show personality showed up to represent a client in a child support case at a Memphis juvenile court, but he was told when he arrived that there was no record of the case, according to TMZ.
Judge Brown lost his cool, became verbally abrasive, and nearly incited a riot. When he wouldn’t calm down, he was arrested and cited for contempt five times, ultimately being ordered to spend five days in jail. He ended up leaving the court under his own power, but was screaming the whole time.
