Judge Joe Brown Arrested for Court Room Meltdown

The roles were reversed for Judge Joe Brown on Monday (March 24) when he was arrested in a court room in Memphis, Tenn.

The 66-year-old television show personality showed up to represent a client in a child support case at a Memphis juvenile court, but he was told when he arrived that there was no record of the case, according to TMZ.

Judge Brown lost his cool, became verbally abrasive, and nearly incited a riot. When he wouldn’t calm down, he was arrested and cited for contempt five times, ultimately being ordered to spend five days in jail. He ended up leaving the court under his own power, but was screaming the whole time.

Two things define you. Your patience when you have nothing, and your attitude when you have everything.

Oh boy! I hope this doesn’t mess judge Brown too badly with his past criminal history and all … he could lose his position as judge. He’s a very passionate man and unfortunately that gets people into trouble. I’ve got loads of experience being a victim of my own passion and dedication.

@Vendetta Chronicles:

Criminal history? If so I’d have figured that would disqualify someone from becoming a judge in the first place? And certainly and criminal shenanigans while in office should surely result in being removed from the bench and maybe even being disbarred.

Judge Brown reminds me of my dad. Impatient and everybody must jump on his time.

Was judge brown’s judge white? There ya go. If he was brown he wouldn’t of gotten slammed.
