'Gotham' Stars Featured in First Look Official Character Portraits - See Them Here!

Ben McKenzie falls to the floor as his co-star Donal Logue aims his gun on the set of Gotham on Wednesday (March 26) in New York City.

Brand new character portraits were just released of many of the cast members, which include first look images of Donal as Det. Harvey Bullock, Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot (aka The Penguin), Carmen Bicondova as Selina Kyle/the future Catwoman, Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth, and of course, Ben as a young Jim Gordon.

Gotham is a prequel to the Batman series, and will air on Fox in the 2014-15 television season.

OMG Sean Pertwee looks soooo much like his father. I’m going to see the 3rd Doctor everytime I see him.

Really looking forward to seeing Ben on a weekly show again and in the lead. The artist rendering and sort of promo pic for his character is supposed to have that weathered, urban, tainted Gotham look I’d guess. Interesting?I’m liking that next to last actual pic of Ben in action. Intense and up close!

More candids. I love Ben’s expression in the last shot from filming. The character posters are like drawings and have a strange finish, but maybe they’re trying for something rougher and urban. Comic book roots?

Thanks for all of the location pics so far. I hope the writing team is just as hard at work!

Following the Ben tag to all of the new pictures from Gotham. The intensity level looks pretty high, starting with the roof chase and through to here. I was disappointed that The Advocates didn’t get picked up, but now full speed ahead with this to have Ben back on TV. Thanks for posting again Jared.

@slainte: Rendering. That’s the word I was looking for to describe the graphic posters. Ben’s face looks a little harder than the real pictures.

I agree about the last action shot and the intense expression and definitely about watching Ben on TV again. Time to shine! Thanks, Jared.

Excellent to see more of Ben at work and congrats to him on his new production company and what should be an amazing film for its first project. Lots of irons in the fire!

Thanks for keeping the pics coming, Jared.

So glad Ben’s back on TV. Plenty to see from your posts from just the pilot already. No doubt that Ben’s got the determination and intensity down in the final photo. I’m looking forward to seeing the soulful, earnest and the other sides too.

I just read about his new production company too. It’s off to a great start! Best of luck with that and Gotham!

Anything with Ben is must see for me, but especially as the lead. The character sketch promo doesn’t really look like him, but then maybe it’s their idea of what Gordon is supposed to look like. Some good shots from filming, especially the final one. Very in the moment with intensity written all over his face.

Thanks, Jared. Now to find out more about his new production company mentioned in the comments.
