Good Morning Love the JoliePitt
.
How are you my dear, you’re up very early today? Nonetheless very pleasant surprise I was about to go and saw your post so doing a quick reply, I’m still catching up reading wise from behind I have read your post to me thank you sorry couldn’t get time yesterday due to work so wasn’t able to reply back pronto. Love was going to say am so proud of our girl Angie God Bless her she really puts her heart and soul in her projects and I still am seriously impressed and humbled how she finds time in all her hectic work schedules, from Unbroken, family life, her UNHCR commitments, her forthcoming Promotion for Maleficent and that Video with the Syrian children just breaks your heart hearing and seeing their plights, still you see Aniston’s Trolls are still spewing hate regardless of what the subject matter is, Shame isn’t it these type of people actually exist amongst us. There is a saying there’s a time and place to vent ones anger but seeing Aniston’s Die Hard fans just puts certain quarter of humanity to shame doesn’t it with their constant hatred towards an innocent family. All its magnifying is what type of people Aniston really attracts. I guess these are the girly girls Chelsea Handler was talking about. Bunch of despicable human beings.
.
Brad looks handsome as ever and looks well rested I guess all this loving from his lady love Angie & his kids would do that to a young 50 year old man, Love I’ll keep it clean its too early to let my mind run in the gutter of all things PDA brad & Angie lol. He’s had one heck of a last year its time to enjoy before things pick up again with Fury. And its so heartwarming to hear all the great Buzz Fury has created at Cinimacon like Angie Unbroken did, these movies both will go head to head may the best man or best women win, ok I want them both to win its not too much ask is it ?.
.
I see Aniston’s stealing Brad & Angie quotes AGAIN not only this women stalks them during their promotion times, or when ever they have something going she muscles in with her BS hair, yoga, skincare and to sound interesting she lifts the same words from Brad & Angie’s interviews now that in my book is called stealing because we know how dumb she really is, after all this is a 45 year old women who cant even string a sentence together with out her PR mans help. Why not hire her own fiancée to write something interesting for her, after all isn’t he supposed to be a writer of some sort ?oh my bad he’s a crap writer as per Robert Downy Junior and the Director of rock of ages, I think he doesn’t give a shite how dumb she sounds he’s only interested in his mouthy pay. Honestly how pathetic is this women , just look at her shilling her cheap brands despite the fact she her self is having work done at skin care clinics having weaves put in her hair, talk about false advertising those companies should be sued as their brand ambassador is a FAKE & A LIAR.

I ;M reposting here from last thered before trolls start craping over

NJ master craftsman hews to tradition of carving custom furniture by hand
===============================================================

.
Accompanying his father to Newark demolition sites filled a young Frank Pollaro with mixed emotions. On one hand, what little boy wouldn’t want to tag along with a dad who works with wrecking balls? On the other, however, Pollaro was awestruck by the fading grandeur of each abandoned building and remembers mourning its fate. “As a 5-year-old, I did not understand why the building was being wrecked. I was saying, ‘Yeah, but the building is beautiful on the inside,’ ” the Bloomfield native says, describing the final walkthroughs he took with his dad. “I left these buildings disturbed that they were coming down. It was the creation in my mind of wanting to build something, instead of demolish it.”
.
He started small, as a 12-year-old crafting salad bowls from spare pallet wood in his parents’ garage and giving them as gifts to his mother and his aunts. “In fact, my mom still has one. She’s 81 now,” he says. After high school, Pollaro studied for a year at the Art Institute of Philadelphia. By 21, he founded Pollaro Custom Furniture in a 300-square-foot Bloomfield shop and hired his childhood friend Jerry Marano as his first employee.
.
During the first few years, business was slow. Pollaro experimented with replicating a few 1920s-era pieces by master furniture designer Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann, including the Ruhlmann Chiffonier — with its impossibly thin white, ivory inlays
set against ebony mahogany. “He was the high priest of Art Deco work. He defined the movement,” Pollaro says of Ruhlmann. Confident in the quality of his reproductions, Pollaro sought a stage for them. He regularly contacted Architectural Digest in an attempt to get a picture of one of his products published in “AD At Large,” a section of the magazine that showcases up-and-coming furniture makers. His persistence paid off.
.
“Architectural Digest published one of my pieces in a tiny photo on the last page of the magazine — in the crease of the magazine,” he says. However poorly placed, the image featuring Pollaro’s take on the Ruhlmann Chiffonier caught the eye of an Australian developer and hotel owner. It was 1995 and the developer ordered $600,000 worth of those specific pieces at a time when Pollaro’s annual volume was about $100,000.
.
Now, at age 47, the master craftsman is known worldwide for his complex veneer and inlay reproductions, as well as his original work, which marries French Art Deco reproduction and modern sensibility. His pieces fetch anywhere from $25,000 to $400,000 and adorn the estates, yachts, hotels and retail space of business moguls and Hollywood celebrities, such as Clive Davis, David Geffen and Robert De Niro.
.
“One of the things we’re better than anyone in the world at is chairs,” says Pollaro, whose custom club chairs range from $25,000 to $60,000. “The way a human being interacts with a chair is something we spend a lot of time thinking about. We are experts at making a chair fit an individual person.” In addition to ergonomics, Pollaro says he gives equal consideration to satisfying his clients’ sense of style.
.
“I still hand-pick every piece of veneer for every project we make,” he adds. His Union-based headquarters, a 15,000-square-foot space, houses more than 1 million feet of veneer, 150 solid wood slabs and 40 unique species of domestic and exotic hard wood, including Macassar ebony, East Indian rosewood and satinwood. There also are exhibition pieces that are immediately shippable, but Pollaro says, “99 percent of the pieces we make are client specific, environment specific, material specific, finish specific and fabric specific.”
Pollaro’s original team of two has grown to 28 — five in drafting and graphics, seven in finishing, with the rest building furniture — and still includes Marano, who is director of finishing operations and a loyal friend.
.
“I love sharing in Frank’s vision,” says Marano, who met Pollaro in grammar school in Bloomfield. “It’s challenging, but very rewarding work. Frank always wanted to build the best furniture in the world, and it’s pretty amazing to think we’re actually doing it.”
He credits Pollaro’s success to “his incredible passion for making fine furniture” and his ability to delegate.
.
“He trusts and appreciates his people,” Marano says. “The guys here are top-notch. He knows that he can hand somebody a job and they’re going to get it right.”Pollaro’s building days are long gone. Instead, his time is spent drafting designs and crisscrossing the globe, racking up 150,000 flight miles a year meeting with clients. “I go home and break big rocks into little rocks, that’s where I get my fun,” he says of the gratification he derives from his more recent hands-on hobby: landscaping the Los Angeles and Morristown homes he shares with his wife, Jennifer.

.
These days, Pollaro — who has a two-year order backlog — has the luxury of being selective about the projects he accepts. That’s what makes his recent partnership with client-turned-friend Brad Pitt all the more intriguing.
.
Brad Pitt called on Pollaro in 2008 to build a desk for the French chateau he shares with Angelina Jolie. During a meeting to discuss the desk, the actor shared a stack of his furniture sketches with Pollaro, who said the imagined pieces’ ultra-modern lines resonated with him.
.
“These pieces have a certain motion to them or rhythm that I think is unique,” Pollaro says. The first Pitt-Pollaro collection, featuring a dozen items, was unveiled in November 2012 in New York. “I think it’s fair to say the pieces have received a warm reception from connoisseurs and collectors,” says Pollaro. “We’re receiving orders on these things from the U.S., Europe, the Middle East and Far East.” Another 15 designs are in the works.
.
Pollaro says he savors the challenge of turning his client’s thoughts into three-dimensional pieces, especially when they require a departure from his signature style. That was the case with a hulking Spanish Colonial table he was commissioned to create last year by the widow of California wine legend Robert Mondavi.
.
“The only thing I collect more than wood is wine,” says Pollaro, who met with Margrit Mondavi several times in the Napa Valley to learn about Robert Mondavi’s passion for winemaking. Those nuggets about Mondavi and the principles of terroir guided Pollaro on the project to commemorate what would have been Mondavi’s 100th birthday.
.
“One of the most prominent thoughts in winemaking is terroir. It means the soil, the microclimate, the growing conditions of a certain area, those components in the soil affect the flavors in the wine itself,” Pollaro says. From the aged Northern California claro walnut felled to build the enormous table — it is 5 feet wide, 15 feet long and 3 inches thick — to the 100 cork inlays outlining its perimeter, the Robert Mondavi Centenary Table pays homage to the winemaker.
.
“Honoring Bob’s legacy timed to the 100th anniversary of his birthday was very important to me. Frank Pollaro … found a way to connect the most important things in Bob’s life with the Centenary Table: wine, food and friends and family,” says Margrit Mondavi, vice president of cultural affairs at Robert Mondavi Winery. “I couldn’t be happier with the finished piece.” Unveiled in June at the vineyard, where it is the tasting room centerpiece, the $75,000 table serves as the model for a limited-edition series of five dining room tables that Pollaro’s company will make.
.
But long before he became a celebrity favorite — and certainly before he built furniture that commands prices higher than a Mercedes-Benz — Pollaro was just a guy from Jersey who loved to work with his hands. “I could never think about anything but making furniture. It was something I could control and make myself,” says Pollaro, who credits his junior high and high school woodshop teachers with inspiring his passion for woodworking and his parents for supporting it.
.
“If I made a salad bowl on the weekend, my dad would get me and the salad bowl, and we’d go around to all my aunts and uncles and he would show off my creation,” Pollaro says. “When you’re a kid and you’re getting that kind of loving encouragement, it gave me the courage I needed to keep exploring.”

Appointment with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt at Miraval domain
================================================
.
Posted on 03/27/2014 by Claudine Abitbol

.
Le Figaro met Marc Perrin , the winemaker in charge of Var Property Hollywood couple , which markets its first red wine at the end of the year The Perrin family ( Castle Beaucastel in Châteauneuf -du -Pape ), elected Winemaker of the Year in 2014 by Decanter magazine influential British wine, is in charge of Miraval wines from Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Privileged interlocutor couple of actors from two vintages , Marc Perrin , 43, evokes the daily activity of Hollywood stars in their field in Correns , Var .
.
LE FIGARO : For two vintages that you are associated Miraval , cross you regularly Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie?
Marc PERRIN : Yes . Every month. They are there on the property. We see , we speak. We walk side by side between the vines . We discuss the technical choices, we taste the wines before and after assembly , we compose all the wines , rosé , both white , red, and soon the “super red ” … This is their home, this is home ! At Correns, there are trees, Roman ruins, dinosaur fossils , places that have almost never been trodden by man, they roam greedily on 600 hectares. When we think of stars they have become, their desire to nature, earthy side , seem all the more surprising.
.
How do they behave in their new role as tenants?
They relate to soil, soil, quite fascinating . It is not said that we would also alerts on a movie set ! For example, from their first vintage in 2012 , they did restore the ancestral stone walls . In Provence, the small fortifications are a real agricultural heritage. And they were there for the first harvest. I guess it’s a performance figures as requested.
.
What fascinates them ?
They are greatly interested in the vine. Planting, replanting , uprooting … They want to share everything everyday vineyard . We tame this huge property surrounded by olive trees and truffle oaks and we travel the 50 hectares of Syrah, Grenache, Rolle said Vermentino to locate these plots high quality potential identified by Lydia and Claude Bourguignon, leading experts in the soil survey .
.
What wine do they have in mind when they are projected in the future?
They talk about balance and finesse. They are not fond of power and wooded . The style they are looking for is more akin to Burgundy or Rhone wines as a Californian spirit .
.
Are they attached to the image of their wine?
The visual appearance of the product really close to their heart . They are the ones who designed the round label raw Miraval . They first started with rosé, this Côtes-de -Provence in 2012 became the flagship of the field , the only rosé to date ranked among the top 100 wines in the world by Wine Spectator, and in 2013 , noted 91 points Decanter . They do not appeal to designers. They create labels , boxes , cases and gifts … They give Miraval this glamor that makes this wine very interested people! In this way , they offer a global lighting Provence . Their white , a Côtes de Provence and Coteaux Varois , assemblies and rolle white grenache, are highly appreciated by sommeliers .
.
How have they chosen ?
They love our French wines and know Tablas Paso Robles , our California vineyards since the 1990s . Our family clan has appointed me to cornaquer the project, but all decisions are collective Miraval . For my part, I looked on the U.S. market for all of our sales of the Rhone Valley . When the couple contacted me , it seemed logical that I remain their preferred partner . Hollywood stars or not , the issue is not there . It is a challenge winemaker , so I am comfortable …
.
Since Perrin are associated with 50% of the Pitt- Jolie, what wines you co-sign to Miraval ?
For five generations , our job is to take control of properties to reveal its potential. Here is the meeting of two families in the service of a domain exception. Miraval is a force of nature. France has a unique position and potential global reach , it also must demonstrate that Miraval since the spotlight is on us. We will release the first vintage 2013 red syrah dominant at the end of 2014. In five years, we will come out another red, Super Provence, in the spirit of Super Tuscans , with Pinot Noir as well , which will make iconoclastic in Provence. Red Miraval follow, in part, the same way that our wine marketing Tribute to Jacques Perrin Castle Beaucastel , not only French Bordeaux wine to be distributed on the Bordeaux first growths alongside classified .
.
The Perrin family has been elected Personality of the Year 2014 Decanter . How do you feel ?
Before us, others have received this honor. I think especially of Aubert de Villaine , de la Romanée -Conti , whom I greatly admire . This award not only welcomes the wines, but the influence of the character of the wine world . Our family has relied on the evolution of the wines in the Rhone valley . I think my grandfather Jacques Perrin , who signed the renewal of Châteauneuf -du -Pape . I also think the conversion of vineyards to organic farming in 1953 . I still think of my father and my uncle , Jean -Pierre and François , who implanted Rhone varietals , Syrah, Grenache , Mourvedre , Cinsault , California to Paso Robles, or who have worked for the return of the assembly thirteen varietals in Châteauneuf -du -Pape , when other growers plébiscitaient “all – grenache .” This appointment is a great pride for the family.

Maleficent’ merchandise ranges from $16 lipstick to $20K jewellery
======================================================

.
March 27, 2014, 6:00 a.m.
.
Disney’s “Maleficent” may not be hitting the multiplex until May, but details about some of the merchandise (think: fashionable goods for the bad girl) are starting to trickle out. Among the notable stylish “Maleficent” merchandise set to drop in advance of the film’s May 30 release: Stella McCartney kids’ clothes, Italian-made scarves and a jewellery collaboration with prices as high as her Winged Wickedness’ prosthetically enhanced cheekbones.
.
Crow’s Nest for “Maleficent”
——————————————–
Daniel Belevitch, creative director of U.K.-based Crow’s Nest, mined the movie’s dark motifs — think feathers, fire, thorns, horns and dragons — to create a high-end, seven-piece jewellery collection that includes a dangerous-looking cuff that evokes the shape of Maleficent’s horns rendered in black rhodium and set with a pear-shaped onyx ($5,720) and a breath-taking rose gold full-finger-length ring encrusted with sparks of yellow and red sapphires ($20,880). Available in early May.

.

Faliero Sarti
——————-
Luxury Italian scarf maker Faliero Sarti has created two modal and cashmere scarves in partnership with Disney Consumer Products. A blue one, edged in a thorn border design, depicts the dangerous damsel lurking in the foreground of a moonlit nightscape, a cottage (presumably Sleeping Beauty’s) visible in the background. A black one features an image of the sorceress in the center, framed by a border of stylized thorns, beaked skulls and black birds ($438 each, available in early May).
.
David Lerner
——————–
If Maleficent decided to stow the horns and dress down for a night on the town she might well choose to wear one of the pieces created in collaboration with the David Lerner label — either the black, thigh-length jersey dress with sheer shoulders ($275) or the black, form-fitting, side-zip leggings ($178). Available in early May.
.
Stella McCartney Kids
———————————-
McCartney, who has partnered on past Disney projects, has designed an eight-piece collection themed around the deadly damsel, the standouts of which include an Aurora dress with floral embroidery detail on the sleeves, neck and belt (for the good little girl, $145) and a dress for the mini-Maleficent in your brood, complete with an all over winged-witch foil print and fabric “wings” that attach at the wrists ($145, purple velvet horn headdress sold separately). The collection also includes a few pieces for the boys (let’s call them “male-ficents,” shall we?), including a cool pair of canvas kicks with an all over feather print and a pair of detachable wings ($200). Available through Stella McCartney and Disney stores as well as both brands’ e-commerce sites at the end of April.
.
MAC Cosmetics
————————-
As one might expect, the cosmetics offering pegged to the film is glamour meets Goth, and the 11-piece wing-silhouette-emblazoned MAC collection includes the obligatory standout blood-red shade of lipstick (“True Love’s Kiss,” $16.50) and a trio of nail lacquers with names like “Uninvited,” “Flaming Rose” and “Nocturnelle” (nude, red and black respectively, $17.50 each). Available May 15 through select MAC stores and Macy’s.
.
Naeem Khan
——————-
A women’s capsule collection tied to the film and designed by Naeem Khan is set to take wing exclusively at HSN on May 7 (with a live TV selling event scheduled for May 27-30). Divided between “wicked side” (heavy on the black with the through line of a gray, black and white feather print) and “good side” (white tone-on-tone feather embroidery), it includes trousers, tops, cropped jackets, dresses and an assortment of pleated pieces including skirts and A-line, thigh-length dresses, all of which will retail from $69.90 to $269.90.

@James:
.
She is not just talking about it. That is what these conferences are about….bringing ideas to the table……finding and discussing solutions that will work and then getting the people on board who have the power to make the change, then joining with them to take the necessary action to put those solutions into play to help bring about positive change.
.

It is so easy to sit back and be an arm chair critic while others are doing the work.
.
Since you know how change can come about then join the crusade for positive change and speak out on behalf of it.
