'Devious Maids' Cast Graces Cover of 'Latina' May 2014!

The ladies of Devious Maids share one big group hug on the cover of Latina magazine’s May 2014 issue.

The ladies – Judy Reyes, Ana Ortiz, Roselyn Sanchez, Dania Ramirez, and Edy Ganem – took the cover to promote their Lifetime show, which is executive produced by Eva Longoria.

“The fact that we are on the air with this amazing show means we’ve won about 20 victories already,” Eva said. “From the writing to the casting to the producing to the fighting for marketing dollars—there are so many challenges we overcame to get to this point. I would never do a disservice to my community. I was super confident going around the country and the world saying, ‘You’ve got to watch the show. It’s a groundbreaking opportunity for the Hispanic community and it’s really good.’”

Such an amateur, mediocre show. Belongs on a telenovella network or Univisiion.

There she is once again promoting the Hispanic community instead of promoting the American community who gave her all her opportunities and wealth; she’s completely disgusting.

  • Nope

It looks like such a dumb show…..gee, I want to watch a bunch of bitchy, catty latinas!!

  • jp

Eva is quite unlikeable, but I enjoyed the show. It was mindless fun for my stressed out life. I grant you I’m apparently the only person who liked its mindless diversion and I’ve been called a racist for liking it, as it’s supposedly anti-Latino (though I’ve worked as a maid too so what’s the big deal, some people work as maids – especially in wealthy L.A.), but it didn’t seem any more insulting than Desperate Housewives or Roseanne. What Hollywood show isn’t insulting to women on some level?

  • Rocky

Roselyn Sanchez has to be one of the most beautiful women on the planet. SHE should have been on the cover of People and NOT JLo!

  • Rodriguez

As usual, no dark-skinned Hispanic women need apply. They are the most color conscious people on earth.
