Anna Kendrick Sings Her 'SNL' Monologue to Tune of 'Belle' - WATCH NOW!

Anna Kendrick opened up her hosting gig on Saturday Night Live by singing a ditty to the tune of “Belle” from the classic Disney movie Beauty and the Beast!

“I got my start in musical theatre. When I was ten, my dad took me to see Beauty on the Beast on Broadway and I just knew I wanted to be up there, so to be here on this New York stage is so incredibly exciting. It just feels like something out of a story book,” the 28-year-old actress said before breaking into song.

This was not the only Disney themed skit of the night. Anna later played Ariel in a Little Mermaid sketch.

In case you didn’t know, Anna received a Tony Award nomination when she was just 12 for her work in the Broadway musical High Society.
