'Goonies' Sequel Could Be Happening, Director Richard Donner Shares!

A highly anticipated sequel for the 1986 hit film The Goonies could finally be in the works!

“If you call ‘Goonies’ a comic book. We’re doing a sequel,” director Richard Donner recently shared to TMZ. Watch the video below!

For the sequel, he also said that he would like to bring back the original cast, which included Corey Feldman, Josh Brolin, Sean Astin, Jeff Cohen, and Martha Plimpton.

Sean has also told IGN in the past about the film, “It will happen. I’m 1000 percent certain there will be a sequel. I will bet my children on it.”
