I met him at the office I was working as the front desk receptionist in Newport Beach, CA back in the 1970′s. He came in wearing a jogging outfit. I will never forget that! RIP Mr. Rooney.

Condolence to the family. May you rest in peace Mr. Rooney.

I was just watching ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ last night… Forever a legend, rest in peace.

As a young child growing up in the 70′s I was in love with old movies, so I watched a lot of Mickey Rooney, because I thought he was very good., along with so many others. However, I don’t feel he was given the respect by TCM and or his current family, with all he was treated as in lasted until this age. Just when your supposed to be enjoying your life, there are problems that he should have never had gone through, but he is in peace, and his movies will be his legacy, which will last for long time.

Say hi to Judy up there Mickey

LOVED THIS MAN! He was ‘old’ Hollywood at its best. Will remember him and Judy tapping away in some of the best musicals ever for that time. Go find Judy Mickey and sing and dance and forget about this mortal world that doesn’t know a stitch of what talent is. When people bring up JLo and other celebrities as ‘triple threat’ I want to throw up!! Mickey was a “TRIPLE THREAT”! He could act, sing, dance — I feel like we’re being left with garbage in Hollywood. Rest in Andy Hardy.

93? He really should have died before

ohh. :’( long live mr. yunioshi… </3
