Mickey Rooney's Wife Jan Hadn't Seen Him Since Last April

Mickey Rooney‘s wife Jan, who he married in 1978, had not seen him since last April and was informed of his death via TMZ, The Hollywood Reporter writes.

Jan told the publication that before his death, Mickey was living at the Studio City home of her son Mark Aber and his wife.

The family had recently been torn apart after Mickey accused another of Jan‘s son Christopher of starving him and depriving him of medicine.

After news of his death hit the Internet, Christopher posted on his Facebook, “Westlake Village at the Pierce Brothers cemetery. Thank you for all your prayers.”

Mickey passed away on Sunday of natural causes after being ill for quite some time.

Our continued thoughts are with Mickey‘s family and friends.

To Mr. Rooney’s family;
Mickey gave me and my generation loads of laughs, many years of movie entertainment, not to mention his TV time (especially his moments on The Tonight Show). It is hard to loose a father, husband, friend even they are very ill.
May God bless you all in this time of grief.
