Will Smith Definitely Wrote 'Gettin' Jiggy Wit It,' Nas Says

Will Smith joins some of his friends for a round of eighteen at the Turnberry Isle Miami resort’s Soffer Golf Course on Tuesday (April 15) in Miami, Fla.

The 45-year-old actor was joined by Miami Heat center Alonzo Mourning and Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez.

There have been rumors over the years that Nas wrote Will‘s hit song “Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It,” but the rapper is turning those reports down.

“Alright, let’s clear this up once and for all. I hung out with Will in the studio. And watched him write it. It was a fun studio session, and I said a line or two or three to him. It wasn’t that serious. Will Smith wrote that song. But seriously, I watched him have fun making that record on his own, and Will is a true MC,” Nas said during his Reddit AMA.
