If you weren’t aware, a sequel has been in the works since 2001, but the project became inactive for years after many failed drafts of the script.

Mrs. Doubtfire centered on “a struggling actor and recently divorced father of three who, in order to be closer to his children, takes on the persona of a Scottish nanny, Eupheginia Doubtfire.”

WHAT DO YOU THINK of Robin Williams returning for a Mrs. Doubtfire sequel?

Please no! It was such a good movie, why ruin it with a horrible sequel.

The film industry is going to implode. This is the franchise era. Sequels, prequels, reboots, remakes. Streaming and online original series are the future. Hollywood studios don’t get that – and as a result, they will die a bad bad death. Worthy of a movie, naturally.

I don’t know how I feel about this. I’m a 90′s child who LOVED the movie so the idea of a sequel sounds intriguing but as history would know, sequels seldom work out.
