Jared Leto's Music Doc 'Artifact' Will Get TV Premiere Next Week!

Jared Leto is super patriotic in his red, white, and blue plaid shirt while heading into an office building on Thursday afternoon (April 17) in Los Angeles.

It was just announced that the 42-year-old entertainer’s music documentary Artifact will be making its television premiere on VH1 and Palladia simultaneously on Saturday, April 26 at 11pm. The film will air on MTV channels later in the summer and will also be available on-demand in the VH1 app.

Artifact follows Jared‘s band 30 Seconds to Mars in a legal dispute with their label while struggling to produce their album This Is War.

“I hope that artists and audiences watch this film and get a greater understanding of how things work in the music industry, because understanding is the beginning of change,” Jared said (via Variety). “Inevitably, we’re all moving toward what I hope is a more transparent system.”

Amazing documentary – saw it on iTunes.
Interesting even if you’re not in the music industry about why the industry is having so many problems and how artist are constantly screwed over.

Saw this documentary a few weeks ago. Amazing. Eye-opening stuff on the steep decline of the music industry.

One of the best documentaries I’ve seen in a while. So educational for everyone to see. Now I know where my money is going when I think I’m supporting these artists, but in reality I’m handing my money straight to the head honchos.

    Jared is multi-talented.

This documentary is an eye opener for sure. I’ve been a 30STM fan for years and this is a must-watch to put it mildly. I hate how greedy the record companies are and how the artists bust their a$$es while the execs get all the money. WTF, so disgusting. Love Jared and 30STM!

Incredibly well done and beautifully informative. Kudos to them! Not only do they make epic music, but also demonstrate they care about others and don’t want them to suffer from the insane lawsuit they went through. Amazing rock band!
