Matt Bomer Left His Family to Lose Weight for 'Normal Heart'
Matt Bomer looks handsome as always while leaving Urth Caffe following lunch on Thursday afternoon (April 17) in West Hollywood, Calif.
The 36-year-old actor recently talked to The Hollywood Reporter about his upcoming made for television movie The Normal Heart, in which he plays a man fighting AIDS.
Matt decided to leave his family for a few weeks while losing weight for the role and calls the time alone “really monastic and solitary — to create the physical reality of what Felix was going through.”
The piece meant so much to me,” Matt added. “People like Larry [Kramer] and the Gay Men’s Health Crisis and ACT UP were the catalysts for the gay rights movement, and we stand on their shoulders.”
