Country Singer Kevin Sharp Dead at 43 After Long Cancer Battle

Sadly, country music lost one of its own today.

Kevin Sharp, who was probably best known for his 1997 single “Nobody Knows,” died on Saturday night (April 19) after a long battle with cancer.

Kevin died due to ongoing complications from past stomach surgeries and digestive issues,” an entry on his official site reads.

It continues, “It is requested that if anyone would like to make a donation in Kevin’s memory, that donations be made to the closest Make A Wish Chapter in the donor’s area so that wishes can continue to be granted for other children.”

Our thoughts go out to Kevin‘s friends and family during this difficult time.

    What a sucky battle to have to fight and so very sad. My thoughts are with his family. I remember when The Tony Rich Project and Kevin released “Nobody Knows” in 1996. A great song that was done so well for R&B and Country radio.
