Emma Stone Covers 'Vogue,' Reveals Her Funny Nickname She Got By Googling Herself!

Emma Stone graces the cover of Vogue‘s May 2014 issue, on newsstands April 29.

Here is what the 25-year-old Amazing Spider-Man 2 actress had to share with the mag:

On googling herself: “I don’t usually like what I find… but some of it is really funny.” She mentioned that she now refers to herself as “that bland basic bitch.”

On being on the Partridge Family reality competition show: “I realized why the people on The Bachelor go so crazy. You go in there rolling your eyes, thinking, This is just a reality search competition, but then you’re there for seven weeks, and you just really, really want to win.”

On never watching Easy A: “It’s just too much of me,” she said, adding that instead of going to the premiere, she “went across the street, had home fries.”

On her boyfriend and co-star Andrew Garfield: “I think I’ve learned a lot by being around him. And, you know, he is an incredibly important person to me… It’s been fun working with him just because of who he is as an actor and person. I think it would be fun no matter what.”

    I thought that was Margot Robbie. Maybe Martin Scorcese want Emma Stone for The Wolf of Wall Streets but Emma turned it down then Martin hired someone that look exactly like Emma.

    She’s soo annoying and soo fake everything she says comes out like blah blah blah ! everyone thinks she’s just an idiot who needs to eat and stop being such a PR coached actress !

    Lily Says:

    She’s so visual fake. Even more after her plastic surgery nose. It’s obvious that she used to be more heavy (now she’s almost anorexic) and her nose wan’t that “perfect”.

    Just see it here: http://melaniemarttila.files.wordpress.com/2012/05/15_emmastone.jpg

    hmm Says:

    I remember her when she was on the partridge family reality show and used her real name Emily Stone. her acting wasn’t good when they did the acting segments as the partridge family, I think she was chosen just cause she’s pretty (she was much prettier back when she was 16 though) but her acting has slightly improved over the years. she was really lucky to get this famous after that crappy reality show, I don’t even know if they had a pilot episode either but the show never happened at the end cause it was a stupid idea.

    @Emma
    if you hate her why the hell do you comment on every post?

    @lily
    It’s the same nose idiot. That pic is in a different angle. Find something better to do with your pathetic life.

  13. 13
    Lily Says:

    @stones:
    Pathetic is you being so vulgar and defending someone you don’t even know. Try to defend without using vulgar words, kid.

    stones Says:

    @lily
    i will defend her. deal with it. your pic has a different angle, different lighting and her makeup is also done differently. if you want to put down emma, prove it with facts.

    Alaia Says:

    @Lily: I actually think what is more pathetic is you insulting a young woman on the internet. It just makes you come across as a typically catty, bitchy girl. Luckily for you, your identity remains anonymous.

    Maggie Says:

    There are plastic surgery and there’s photoshop treatment in all those commercial photos, people! I work with fashion magazines. So stop trying to think that celebrities are perfect. They have acne, imperfections, dark circles, cellulitis, anorexia, overweight and all those normal things. Emma is not a exception.

  17. 17
    Terry Says:

    @Lily: I must agree with you. I don’t hate her or anything (ok, crazy fans?) but I think she really got a nose surgery. It’s pretty obvious that.

  18. 18
    layla Says:

    @Maggie: Emma said they had to photoshop her face while filming Easy A cause she had stress-related acne. so don’t worry, we know she isn’t perfect, at least she’s honest about it though. and I don’t think she had a nose job, she’s one of the few with a naturally small and feminine nose, lucky her, girls tend to look more like their fathers so that’s why a lot of women may not inherit their moms nose and end up with a smaller version of their fathers nose which could still look big on their face and that’s why women get nose jobs so their noses can be “feminized”, Emma got lucky though.

    SAME NOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Some of you people are pathetic. She did not get plastic surgery.

    Cate Says:

    Stars should never Google themselves. sounds like she stumbled on ONTD with that description!

    What the heck happened on the set of Easy A? She always talks about it like it was the most traumatic event to shoot. Wasn’t it just a high school comedy, not like she was filming a Lars von Trier movie.

  21. 21
    Jane Says:

    @Cate: I forgot what interview but she said before that she felt incredibly anxious and stressed because it was her first movie as a lead and felt as if during the whole filming process there was just this heavy weight on her shoulders etc. I guess this explains why her movies since then have been ensembles. She’s pretty open about her anxiety and I think handling a movie by herself was too much for her and her emotional well being.

  22. 22
    Cate Says:

    @Jane: Ah OK. Thank you for explaining. I wondered why she seems to stick with girlfriend parts and ensembles despite all the hype. I wonder if she’d be able to cope with leading role in a heavy drama if she found leading a relatively fluffy movie like Easy A difficult.

  23. 23
    Jane Says:

    @Cate: her hype mostly stems from her comedic roles though, don’t they? I think she’s a better comedic actress than drama from what we’ve seen although she does say in this interview that she wants to try new things. She’s got 3 other films coming out this year and they seem to lean more as dramas so maybe we’ll get to see if she’s progressed when it comes to range. Those films are still ensembles but I guess she prefers to share the spotlight/press responsibilities

  24. 24
    Cate Says:

    @Jane: Yes, she’s gotten lots of attention for her comedic roles. I don’t think she has shown much impressive range beyond that yet so I guess we’ll see.

    freya Says:

    Sorry but even with Emma Stone on the cover. Vogue lost all credibility as a fashion magazine ever since they put the awful social climbing fame ***** and her pindeho of a husband of her. I’ll never buy this magazine EVER AGAIN.

    Hey since they want to attract buyers of the lower denomination why not let Jemma Jameson or Tia Tequila be the cover next on month issue.
