What a disgusting vile human piece of shit. Instead of holding cotton for him, they’re holding a basketball.

  • Are you surprised?

I am NOT. What bothers me the most is how so many Caucasians refuse to believe that members of their race do things like this and much, much more. It’s like they have this overall belief that their race of people are more noble, fair and innocent than everybody else. If black people have racist incidents and tell a Caucasian, the Caucasian usually believes the black person is making stuff up or is imagining something. The world has a long way to go, and frankly, I don’t think we will ever get there as long as society continues to go through ups and downs and bad economic times, which makes people turn on one another. However, we ARE better off today than yesterday, and that’s something to be glad about.

Sterling’s comments were utterly disgusting. Hateful racist scum.

Good that Magic Johnson said something. Hope other prominent people speak up.

  • Sam

While what he may have said is disgusting, I believe we should cut him some slack. First of all, he’s 81 years old. Second of all, what he said was during a private conversation and he didn’t publicly blurt out the words. You can’t force everyone to like other groups.

    Why so serious Magic?

Sam at 7:17; What he said about today’s political correctness insanity was not disgusting at all.

Funny nobody posts the racists rants of Kanye West

One idiot white guy does not speak for all Americans. I am completely disgusted with this moron and he should be/will be removed from the NBA asap. Let’s not generalize here. Most of us know racism is wrong.

  • Oh Boy

I don’t like what he said, but let’s not act as though others that pretend to be PC don’t have these thoughts as well. All PCness does is drive their conversations underground.

He obviously felt jealous and threatened by his black girlfriends association with black men that were younger than himself. He didn’t want to appear “played” in public. The truth of the matter is that EVERYONE in this country has negative racial thoughts, even against their own race, at some time at the other.

This countries racist past is so ingrained in the fabric of our society that it’s hard to escape the boxes that has been established.

White people are getting absolutely pummeled and they haven’t even noticed.
This guy has a private conversation on the phone, and the B who he’s supporting tapes it and now the NBA thugs who’s multi-million dollar salaries he’s paying tell him he’s fired? Does anyone know what the off-court behavior of NBA players is like? You’re going to let a Kobe Bryant, who barely escaped a rape charge, tell the 80-year-old owner of the Clippers he’s fired? Kobe Bryant can just check into a hotel room and call a teenage white girl up to bring towels and rape her and claim in court it was consensual? And he has the authority to fire the Clippers’ owner?
A-hole Eric Holder said this country is too cowardly to have an honest conversation about race. Donald Sterling tried to have an honest conversation on a private telephone call and look what he gets for it.
    White people are finished.

We don’t want our freedom of speech anymore!
We don’t want our right to own firearms, either!
We’re TIRED of living in a free country!

@Are you surprised?: Well they certainly have a different mindset. Not sure how old you are or if you remember the OJ Simpson trial. Well when we heard the verdict was going to be released we all rushed into the break room,. When we heard “Not Guilty” all the black people broke out into cheers and were clapping and those of us who were white just got surly. I did not speak to my good friend who sat next to me for 3 days or more because I saw her clapping.

On topic, I think the girlfriend set him up and pushed his buttons. I read elsewhere on at least two sites she stole a lot of money from him and promised to “get even”.

  • Yep

The LA Times Story is the best! So his wife filed the lawsuit claiming that the gifts he gave his girlfriend was from their community property! He’s had many girlfriends but apparently this one got over $1.8 million in gifts. The wife’s claiming that those gifts were given without her permission! Crazy. Some are saying that it’s the wife that recorded the phone conversation and leaked it! Wouldn’t that be a story!
