Andrew Garfield Helps Raise Over $10,000 for Worldwide Orphans at 'Spider-Man 2' Screening!

Andrew Garfield gets fed a delicious Baked By Melissa treat by Dr. Jane Aronson at the Worldwide Orphans Foundation’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2 screening on Sunday (April 27) in New York City.

The 30-year-old actor helped the charity raise over $10,000 that day, according to the organization’s Facebook page. Great news!!

“I’m in awe of what Jane and her team do,” Andrew said at the event. “It’s a true Spider-Man life.”

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 hits theaters on Friday (May 2) – and be sure to learn all about Worldwide Orphans and their cause over at their official website.

10K for worldwide orphans? Really? That doesn’t help them much, does it? I hate this kind of celebrity promotion. He could at least have donated that amount himself and possibly more, but he ‘helps’ raise it instead? What an *******.
