Sutton Foster Reacts to Receiving Her Sixth Tony Nomination!

Sutton Foster sits down for an interview on The Today Show on Tuesday morning (April 29) in New York City.

Just an hour before the interview, the Tony nominations were announced and the 39-year-old actress received her sixth career nomination, this time for her work in the musical Violet!

“I’m thrilled. I’m so thrilled. We already feel like we’ve won. We never thought in a million years that we’d be doing [Violet] on Broadway… it’s taken seventeen years for it to come to Broadway and it’s just the most beautiful story and I’m just so thrilled that audiences and people are embracing it,” Sutton said.
