Emma Roberts: 'It's Hard to Find Authentic People'

Emma Roberts and her fiance Evan Peters wrap up lunch at Kings Road Cafe on Tuesday afternoon (April 29) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The 23-year-old actress was seen leaving the Chateau Marmont wears a denim jacket after a night out with pals.

Emma was seen again the next day (April 30) wearing her workout clothes while picking up some food to go.

“I had friends for 10 years that I had a falling out with and now don’t speak to. It’s hard in your early 20s because everyone’s going on their own path and friendships just fall apart,” Emma recently said to Elle Canada. “I’ve known one of my best girlfriends since I was 11 and we still talk every day, but others just don’t last. I used to make fun of my parents for not having friends. Now I see why! It’s hard to find authentic people to keep in your life.”

FYI: Evan is wearing Levi‘s Jeans. Emma is wearing a Levi‘s Trucker jacket at Chateau. She is wearing Ilana Ariel earrings at lunch.

it’s also hard to find people who don’t beat you up

Says the fakest one around.

Maybe that also has something to do with the fact that your old friends probably have to live in the real world and have real jobs and deal with all the everyday b.s. that comes with that while you can just do whatever you want and pretend to be someone else for a living.

@Hm: You are so frustrated about your life! You must hate your life so much that you go to websites about celebrities and talk **** about them when in reality you’re projecting your own self-loathing. You’re jelous, that’s all.

Shes right. The more mature you are, the harder it is to trust and keep friends. So many people these days are selfish and only look out for themselves. It’s better to keep away from some people, than tolerate their fakeness.

@Sammy: Yeah because only good things happen when people get exactly what they want all the time. I’m not sure what she means about “being authentic” but if she expects people to be the same as they were in their teenage years then that just means that you’re not really evolving as a person.

These things happen Emma. It isn’t unusual. People change. Grow up. Move on. And even dump old habits and friends. Never fear, young people make new friends easily.

Take it slow. Use your brain.

Yeah, Ive met her in real life and shes a stuck up brat. She acts very bitchy all the time. She is not authentic at all and spoiled rotten…so I have to admit I find this comment from her amusing.
