The most crucial elimination this season on American Idol just happened and now we have our top three contestants!

Making it through this week was especially important as the top three get to do the super awesome hometown visits where they get a parade and a concert back home. We’ll get a full recap of that next week.

The first two contestants to make it through tonight were Jena Irene and Caleb Johnson, leaving Jessica Meuse and Alex Preston to be in the bottom two.
