    No one has to love Lea, but this young woman deserves respect from everyone. Like her or not as an actress, singer, or person, she has truly shown class, grace and strength in the midst of personal grief. I hope others can agree that amidst the situation as a whole and opinions aside, that she is someone to be respected. I know I do.

    Shame Says:

    @stopbeingaprick: There is no reason in the world for her to post this personal message on a social media board other than for attention.

    @Shame: Everyone else has the freedom to post photos in memorium of loved ones. Lea should be absolutely no exception. I lost my mom 6 years ago and I posted a message about her online today. Public figure or not, each of us is entitled to managing our own social media sites. It’s completely ignorant to say all she wants is attention. It’s rememberance and grief, we all have experienced or will experience it. Please, instead of being harsh, step off of your threshold and humanize her. She’s a person. There’s no reason to push anyone down. It’s unkind and completely unnecessary.

    @Liz: beautiful and true.

    Shame Says:

    @Liz: Try following your own advice, Miss Condescension.

    Shame Says:

    @Liz: P.s…copying and pasting the same comments on every message board doesn’t make them any more profound.

    JJ Says:

    @Shame: She is not milking this! I hope you never have to lose someone you love, because you are going to be “milking it” too. She lost someone she though she was going to be spending the rest of her life with. If she didn’t post anything or say anything people would think she is a heartless *****. So why are you being so rude? She is obviously hurting, and talking probably makes her feel better. People who lose loved ones post about them all of the time. I know I did when my grandma died. And no one ever told me I was milking it. Just because she is famous doesn’t make her any less human.

  16. 16
    still.. Says:

    what? I though she was done promoting her ****** album… why is she still milking this?!

  17. 17
    Shame Says:

    @JJ: If and when I lose someone, I certainly will not be posting about their death on a social media site months after the fact in a ploy to garner sympathy. The departed deserve to rest in dignity; not have their memory dragged out every time some B-list starlet has a new project to promote.

    Living in a box Says:

    I just won a bet, I make a bet with my friend that Lea will post something on twitter related with Cory. And I just won.

    @shame totally agree with you … Enuf is enuf

    Who Cares Says:

    I’m with Shame, but y’all are far too invested.
    PS My mom is dead too, so don’t start.

  21. 21
    You don't Says:

    Have birthdays when you are dead. That is just a ridiculous concept.

  22. 22
    Meh Says:

    She could have done that quietly – without Twitter, but she had to cheapen it.

  23. 23
    look Says:

    that’s her pre-plastic surgery nose.

  24. 24
    Taz Says:

    @Meh:

    In no way did she cheapen it. I think it’s beautiful that she shared that message and photos. Many of Cory’s fans will appreciate it.

  25. 25
    Liz Says:

    @Shame: @Shame: I really wasn’t being condescending. I was sharing my thoughts and aspects of my life- and the reason for posting it multiple times is that somehow people still have the same ignorant thoughts in their heads. My comment wasn’t meant to be “profound.” I’m not full of myself and I don’t appreciate that assumption.
    I don’t understand why people like you still pop up on these message boards. So negative.
