JK Rowling's 'Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them' Given Release Date!

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, from the mastermind JK Rowling, has been given a release date for the first movie in the planned trilogy!

The first installment by the Harry Potter author will hit theaters on November 18, 2016, which happens to be just two days before The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part II is set to be released.

Set about seven decades before the Harry Potter series, the movies will follow magizoologist Newt Scamander. The movies will be an “extension of the wizarding world,” Variety reports.
