Ex 'Scandal' Star Columbus Short Pleads Not Guilty in Felony Battery Case

Columbus Short leaves the Los Angeles Superior Court after appearing to deal with his felony battery charge on Thursday (May 15) in Los Angeles.

The 31-year-old actor, who will not be returning to his hit show Scandal this season, pleaded not guilty that day for his felony battery charge after allegedly being involved in a bar fight in March, the AP reports.

Columbus also is facing a misdemeanor charge in a spousal abuse case for allegedly threatening to kill his wife earlier this year.
