His version actually hits that spot better than hers. Her version has drawn out words not really necessary and John proves that here. I appreciate the simplicity in his voice.

If he is so good then why can’t he get mention in the media for singing his own songs any way the song sounds kinda dead. I have all of his first albums but now I don’t think I really like his voice any more. What’s with that harmonica? kind of sounds lame and embarrassing. Plus that whole racist thing is still hanging in the air……

Johns version is far better plus he’s not mention in the media cos only ppl who sing crap and bad lyrics like gangsta style kinda lyrics are popular real music is never appreciated tell BeyoncĂ© to play an instrument she has a good voice but she can’t perform alone john only needs a guitar

Get over it, you wouldn’t know good music if it smacked you in your dumb head!!!!!!!!!!

John Mayer is by far the most talented singer songwriter out there, and he can play a guitar like there’s no tomorrow, mesmerizing to watch, he also slams it at several genres of music, blues, country, pop, acoustic , the guy is so talented. The country vibe he has dabbled in the last 2 albums has been great, but I’d love to see him ace it at a really good quality pop album without him losing his trademark deep lyrics and awesome guitar work. The guy would make all the other pop stuff on the charts today sound like something that came at your ****. Do it John ,give us a guitar driven pop album that we can play in 20 years and still sounds fresh.
