Soap Opera Veteran Matthew Cowles Dead at 69

Longtime All My Children star Matthew Cowles died at the age of 69 on Thursday (May 22), according to his manager.

#Matthew Cowles passed away on 5/22.I had the pleasure of being his manager. He was a very gifted and kind man who loved life and everyone,” Tsu Tsu Stanton tweeted.

Matthew is survived by his wife of more than 30 years, The Good Wife‘s Christine Baranski. A two-time Daytime Emmy nominee, he was best known for his role as Billy Clyde Tuggle on the soap opera All My Children.
