Charlie Cox Will Show His Superhero Powers as Netflix's 'Daredevil'!

Charlie Cox has signed on to star as the leading man in Netflix’s upcoming series Daredevil, according to THR!

The 31-year-old English actor will take on the role of “Matt Murdock, the blind lawyer by day and crime-fighting hero by night” in the 13-episode drama.

Spartacus (and Buffy) alum Steven S. DeKnight is the showrunner, replacing Drew Goddard, which is still an exec producer and will serve as a consultant on Daredevil.

In case you didn’t know, Charlie has starred in CBS’ drama pilot The Ordained and HBO’s Boardwalk Empire, where he had a recurring role as Owen.
