Lucy Hale's JJ Spotlight Takes the Road Between (Exclusive Pics)

Lucy Hale is a polka-dotted darling in this exclusive new pic from the latest edition of the Just Jared Spotlight Series.

The 24-year-old actress/singer, sporting Vogue Eyewear, is set to release her debut album, Road Between, on June 3 and we’re so excited to see Lucy go back to her country roots!

For those that aren’t aware of Lucy‘s musical talents, she actually has been singing her whole life and was one of the five winners of the reality competition series American Juniors back in 2003. As many know, she then went on to star in the NBC series Bionic Woman, the CW show Privileged, and then broke out with her biggest role to date as Aria Montgomery in the ABC Family smash hit series Pretty Little Liars.

In our interview with Lucy, she talked to us about her new album (available for pre-order now on iTunes) and told us whether she thinks Aria would sing one of the songs on the show.

Lucy Hale Interview – JustJared.com Exclusive

Just Jared: You are days away from the release of Road Between. How are you going to celebrate?? Any big plans for the day of release?

Lucy Hale: This album is a dream come true and I couldn’t be more excited! I’ll be working on June 3rd but will definitely take a moment to let it all sink in and enjoy this accomplishment. I feel incredibly blessed!

JJ: Who inspired your album the most? Any specific situations or events that really inspired the album?

LH: It’s hard to pinpoint an exact moment or situation because this has been a life-long dream of mine. So many different people have inspired me over the years. The album is reflective of all of those relationships and moments.

JJ: Which song touches you the most from the album?

LH: Oh my, that’s a tough question. I worked on the album for two years so suffice to say, they all touch my heart and for different reasons. Right now it would have to be “Nervous Girls.”

JJ: Which country artist impacted you the most growing up?

LH: Definitely the ladies of country! Martina McBride, Faith Hill, and Shania Twain. They are so awe-inspiring. Fierce, beautiful, kind and talented!

JJ: Would your character Aria ever sing a Lucy Hale song on Pretty Little Liars? Or would your country music and PLL ever intersect?

LH: Yes I don’t see why not! You never know!

JJ: Which celeb(s) would you let lick your face?

LH: Ha! I don’t know that I would be up for a face lick from anyone I didn’t know!
