Suki Waterhouse Joins 'Divergent' Sequel 'Insurgent' as Marlene

Suki Waterhouse has landed herself a major movie role in the upcoming film Insurgent, which is the sequel to this year’s hit Divergent.

The 22-year-old actress/model and girlfriend of Bradley Cooper will be playing the role of Marlene, a member of the Dauntless faction, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The character befriends Shailene Woodley‘s Tris in the first book, but she has a much more important role in the second book.

Jonny Weston, who appeared in the surfing movie Chasing Mavericks, is also in negotiations to join the film though it is not known which role yet.
