“I can tell you this though: Dakota is a gifted, gifted actress and this will be a blip in a long line of parts where she kills it. She is the authentic article and I am exceedingly proud of her,” Dakota‘s dad Don Johnson recently shared to Huffington Post about her film Fifty Shades of Grey.

The film was ruined the minute Sam Taylor was chosen as director and Dakota was cast as Ana. I’m wondering why James didn’t put her foot down and express her concern as to how the actors don’t resemble her beloved characters in ANY WAY. Thank you for ruining both the books and the fantasy.

@tick: If she is talented and a good,hard-working actor then why shouldn’t she get good roles. She auditioned just like everyone else did and she got the role based on her talent. It seems like you would be more accepting of her if she didn’t have famous parents. But the same cannot be said for Kristen Stewart, she has no talent and she still got the part .

@OverIt: You sorcerer and you can see the future? Stop littering and bad luck to a project that isn’t in the film yet. Swallow your poison and hatred and wait to see the result, if you don’t see the movie please shut up, don’t embitter us waiting.

@Gina: Last time I checked I lived in a free country. I’m entitled to my opinion as is anyone on this website. Please refrain your illiterate thoughts from using the words “hatred” and “poison” in replying to my comment. It’s not personal. We are commenting on fictional books and an unreleased film.

P.S. (Sorcerer’s practice magic, they don’t predict the future.)

    Gina Says:

@OverIt: Yes, this is a free country as far as I know, so to answer your comment, may criticize the book because it has been written, published and read, but you cann’t do with a movie that has not seen. Your feedback is more ignorant because these prejudging just because you don’t like the director and actors. If you prefer not to call poison and hatred if it makes you feel better, but it is what it is. Remember the book and the characters are fictional, but the director and the actors are real people.

P.S: It’s not personal. It’s just magic and practiced.
