Angelina Jolie's 'Maleficent' Debuts at No. 1 with $70 Million!

Disney’s Maleficent, starring Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning, topped the weekend box office with an amazing $70 million gross!

According to THR, the live action flick marks Angelina‘s best box office to-date!

Staying strong in second place was X-Men: Days of Future Past, featuring a star-studded cast of Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, and more, which brought in an addition $32.6 million for a domestic total of $162.1 million so far.

Seth MacFarlane‘s new comedy A Million Ways to Die in the West came in third with $17.1 million.

Rounding out the top five were Godzilla, starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Bryan Cranston, and Elizabeth Olsen, and the new Drew Barrymore and Adam Sandler comedy Blended, which brought in $12.3 million and $8.84 million, respectively.
