John‘s ex Katy Perry recently took the cover of Cosmopolitan‘s July 2014 issue, where she dished about her former flame.

“I have a lot of respect for [John] still, and I know it goes both ways. There’s no bad blood, but I’m sure there will be inspired songs,” Katy told the mag.

@Drats: I’m not gonna slam her for writing songs about her relationships, as many artists are usually inspired by writing from personal experiences, relationships, etc. but I just wish that allot if them would just not exploit their exes so much. I think that’s why I have grown tired of Taylor Swift after a while. I mean why put your whole life out there because you know people will want to hear about it, and claim they are personal when it comes to their personal lives. Complain about the media, etc. sometimes it backfires on the artist who write about their exes and just lower themselves as human beings. Like I said being inspired about a relationship or break up I done thing but sometimes it’s often better left unsaid. It actually gets old after a while.

    Just my opinion
