Kate Middleton & Prince William Pay Respects at D-Day 70th Anniversary

Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge (aka Kate Middleton) and Prince William applaud a speaker at the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings on Friday (June 6) in Arromanches Les Bains, France.

“It is essential too that we never forget the friends and companions of those veterans who gave everything on June 6 and during the days and months that followed,” the 31-year-old royal said in his speech. “However, today is also about the young. It is vital for them that they remember the sacrifice made by so many.”

FYI: In case you didn’t know, D-Day is the day when 156,000 troops from the allied countries including the United Kingdom and the United States joined forces to launch an audacious attack on the beaches of Normandy. These attacks were eventually credited with the downfall of Nazi Germany.

it’s only appropriate, Jared, for you to list every single country that participated in that event. it’s very low to only mention the US and the UK. no respect for the world’s history

Their appearance is inappropriate and nonsense. They have no connetion to it. The Queen was sweat through for once as she talked to the veterans. Also Charles and Camilla were to much. But It seems that William has no job this days and Kate is anyway not profitable. They seem to need the good press and promote themselves around.

yeah again @ 06/06/2014 at 3:51 pm

I think everywhere she goes, her appearance is to much of nothing.

Anybody notice Obama chewing gum during the speech by Hollande of France at the Normandy D-Day service?? I thought that was unbelievably disrespectful but this phony never ceases to amaze me.

FYI: Stop acting like your readers are stupid.

William’s speech was pretty awkward. What a moron. Good thing the duchess of Butt wasn;t waving her bare butt in everyone’s faces.

@really?: Willy and Waity = lazy, spoiled losers who have NO connection to brave servicemen. Willy can’t even decide what to do with himself and was never allowed to fly a helicopter without another pilot with him. LOL

@bob: I agree. He’s so busy tanking the USA, odd he had the energy left to chew gum.

Waity Katie @ 06/07/2014 at 10:49 pm

Stop inflicting Waity the baboon on the public. Horribly disrespectful for the brave men to be forced to associate with a stupid, low class slag who can’t keep her dresses down.
